PRSA STL August Event: How Social Media is Changing Storytelling

  • Ces and Judy's 10405 Clayton Rd Frontenac, MO, 63131 United States (map)

The August PRSA meeting will feature a candid conversation with members of the media and public relations professionals on how traditional and social media convergence has changed the way and type of stories that are reported. The morning meeting will cover topics such as the challenge of reporting in a social media world; how social media has changed the news delivery business model; and how public relations and media professionals can best work together to produce accurate, compelling and engaging stories that deliver market share for both media outlets and organizations.

Joe Dwyer, managing editor of the St. Louis Business Journal, is a confirmed panelist for the meeting. He has been with the Business Journal 27 years and coordinates the news gathering staff, including four reporters, a web editor, a social media coordinator and a researcher.
